Ed was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.  After the Marine Corps took him hot places for four years, he decided to re-locate to someplace sunny, like Arizona.
Ed has been a paperboy, an interstate truck driver, a technician, an engineer, and a teacher of Chinese Kenpo.
A voracious reader, he thrives on science fiction, fantasy, history, archaeology, paleontology, biography, and theoretical physics.  His books reflect these passions.
