While on a dive trip near Malta, Doctor Megan Lee and Alec’s boss, Zack Torres, discover an ancient map in an underwater cave.  The map leads Alec and his friends to an ancient metal statue in an Anasazi Indian site in northern Arizona.  The statue proves to be a remnant of the ancient technology of the lost land of Aedan.  Meanwhile, the world learns of the return of an extraterrestrial threat that had destroyed the colonies of Aedan, and Alec and his friends are the only ones with a key to saving the Earth from destruction.
